Whats the verdit on the Superchips for the V6? I know there were more than a hand full buying these up on the recent group buy. I am considering this product now, like in the next week. I have read all the previous posts and it looks like a pretty good buy but I really need to be sold on this product so I need some feedback on the value on this piece. Right now I just have the basics like...
Cold Air Intake
Fastman 46mm TB
Underdrive Pulley (well worth it in GAS Mileage)
Dynomax #17748 muffler
Basic Ignition (MO28, MO26, 8mm wires, Bosch Platium +2 plugs)
Amsoil Synthetic throughout Differential, Transmission, and Motor.
So would it be worth it...
Also like me add that I will be changing the tire sizes which will increase MPH by 6.5% too slow, so I really like that speed calibration setting, but again is it worth it on HP and Torque???

Message: To answer your question Yes. but you might want to put in the 180 super stant thermostat so you can run midrange (89 octane) instead of the 91-93 premium.

Message: Be careful on those group buys. Unless you have a receipt from an AUTHORIZED dealer Superchips will not perform an update on the unit should you need one for it to work on your truck. Internet sites are not allowed to sell their gear nor are group buys authorized according to Superchips themself. Do some research on this board and you will learn alot. I had one that needed an update from someone on here and he basically gave me my money back and I threw out the unit since it was useless. Bought another one from someone on here and he sent it back to the factory for me with his receipt for reprogramming because it also would not work on my truck. So bottom line, don't take advice from someone who doesn't own one because they don't know what the hell they are talking about regarding these updates.

Message: G'day Dickie, could you tell me what brand, part# etc. of underdrive pulley you put on your truck as i am considering the same mod. Have you removed the stock crank fan and installed thermo type? Thanks

Message: ASPracing.com has what you need, belt size and all.... Got mine from truckperformance.com for a little under $50 clearance price shipped. No electric fan or 180 degree thermostat. Don't want to lose my MPG on the thermostat.

1 vote... good
2 undecided
C'mon people chime in, need more input... There are probably atleast 50 people that have one these Superchips on there V6. Little help here...
