so i need a new inner tie rod end, the dealership says it is not serviceable, yet napa sells the inner for my truck for 50$ canadian. I should believe the dealership over a serviceshop right? Maybe? anyone know something about this? 2001 dak, 4x4 qc.

Not Serviceable means you can't rebuild the joint but you can replace the end. Screws on thru a sleeve. Requires separator and an alignment. Check pitman and idler arm, check ball joints and control arm bushings. Check shocks. Why? One worn part wears on another.

thanks, ive ordered the inner tie rod end from napa, has to come directly from factory tho... and ive got 2 lower ball joints to put in, and hopefully all will be well. thanks for the reply.
