I have had my flowmaster on for around 5 months. I can still set car alarms off. I can set them off 2 cars over when I crank up like when I am leaving the movies. My girlfriend doesnt seem to mind the noise of it. I like putting it in nuetral and revving it at a stoplight. Especially if there are some riceburners making their weedeaters sing. All I have to do is give it a quick rev and all I hear is that legendary sound!

Yeah...no sh!t...that's a real ricer dakota...
Flowmaster 40...whew... even though it sounds better than a stock V8 dak at idle and in the lower RPMs. Although, yes, hater...I will say you are technically right in the upper RPMs, but that's the best it's gonna get while a V6 is under the hood.

I can agree with GreenDak. If I had some flowmasters on mine, I was use them whenever I could. Because they sound great!

hater and BobAnderson, you guys need to get laid or something. I sure as hell know I am no ricer. If somebody revs their motor, I will rev right back. Not all of the time of course. Where I live at, ppl do this sh!t all the time just for the hell of it.

SO IF I PUT A FLOWMASTER 40 ON MY 3.9L DAKOTA IT WILL SOUND LIKE A V8? I HAVE A TURBO EXHAUST ON IT NOW AND I THOUGHT THAT I COULD NEVER GET THE V8 SOUND OUT OF IT.

I have the single in/dual out 40 series. I had the installer weld two turndowns right behind the muffler. I guess b/c of the turndowns, it has a deeper sound. Not gonna say that it sounds like a V8 100% of the time, but I have fooled numerous ppl until they see the V6 magnum badge on the front fender.
