 Subject: Volant intake installation

Well, I recieved my Volant cool air intake (part #26952) that I ordered from truckperformance.com today. The intake didn't come with any installing instructions and I'm having difficulty making everything fit right . The brackets that are supposed to support the intake don't seem to fit right and there doesn't seem to be enough room for the heat shield that covers half the filter to fit. The a/c lines get in the way. I was wondering if anyone knows a website or could tell me how to install the intake. Thanks for any help.

One bracket should mount to the stud holding the heat shield on the exhaust manifold. The other should mount onto one of the studs that held the factory filter box. As for the filter guard, I don't use mine, but it should fit open end facing towards fender.
one more suggestion, re-route wires mounted on fender well in the area the filter will sit, or it will rub a hole in your air filter.
