What does a stock 4.3 S10 run at the track? Cause I can beat one...barely but still beat one at the quarter mile mark?
The reason is that Me and Jeremy went to the track and got HORRIBLE times....which we never thought we would be in. The reason I am asking is because the track we went to is awfully old and never kept up all that much....and it could be the track to...because its not very smooth (rather really bumpy)after the 1/8th mile due to it was an 1/8th mile track only. So my question is what does a completely stock GenII or III Truck ran at the track and an S10 because me and Jeremys times were in the mid 17's....i was expecting mid to maybe high 16's.

I just recently put on a V8 TB and I'm waiting for some other mods before I go back and try to beat it. Hope thats what you were looking for.

you forgot to mention what year the s10 was and tranny and body style. you guys were running mid 17's???? thats terriable! and jeremy, that kid was tellin us how he was pullin on rx8's and last time i checked rx8's were able to pinch off high 14 sec slips to low 15's. nitrous isint lookin so bad now is it? learn how to launch ur trucks

Again like I saod I dont think the track times were accurate....and Yes Jeremy did beat a auto RX8 and they are high 15 second cars!
We will take his truck to Little River Raceway and findout if the track time were true?
BTW i was meaning a 97-2001 auto 4.3 vortech s10 cause i beat a rc and cc s10....barely but still beat them.
On the other hand our 60 foot times could have been a little better i prolly could have got a 2.4 or a lil less but the traction was as about as good as the street even with the VHT on the track, the traction was horrible but my 2.5 60 ft was with a little slip on the start thats about it.

I seem to remember a post to Jeremy a little while ago that told him to take it to the track and get some times before he kept coming on here and talking out of his gay little a$$.

low 17's are average for my 2002 4x4 cc 3.9 dak with 40 series flowmaster, k&n homebrew intake, jet stage 2 and 180 thermo.
Hopefully my new v8 tb and plugs/msd6a will help. If I could get the truck to run mid to high 15's I'd be happy, but I really don't see that coming anytime soon.
