Message: i have an auto, i was told to hit it around 2500 rpms.... but bernd convinced me it was alright to hit it off the line if i am only using a 75 shot and 3.55 gears. that alone shaved 3 tenth off of my 1/8th but has killed my traction. if i could hook up i would do even better. when i get 4.10 gears i will use a 100 shot.
how are those cams doing (i wish i had two cams)?

Message: Seemed to give me more torque and the flat spot at 4800 is pretty much gone. I barely have to hit the throttle to get up to speed. Took it out for a 1/4 mile run and couldn't get any traction. Tried a launch and after I spun for about 10 feet I short shifted to second and thought it would spin its self out right away. When I looked at the marks on the road on the way back I left a good 25' of rubber. Gotta let the roads thaw out and bolt my summer tires back on.
Pulled a 15.4 on that run at 3000 feet and didn't get much traction until most of the way through second. Oh well 14s should be to hard with traction. Corrected thirteens is what I want to hit N/A by the end of the summer. At my altitude that is about a 14.5. We will see if I run out of money. I certainly won't run out of nerve. lol
Damn Canadian winters wish I was south more so I could do a little tuning.
