 Subject: Coil and Cap

For those that have changed there coil and dist. cap, I was wondering where you got it from and if possible the part # or type. I had ordered the cap from jegs (accel cap) was back ordered till 7-27 and now until sept. I told them forget it. I am looking for a good brass (connector) cap. I would like to replace the coil with a performance coil but not sure which accel or other to get. Have rotor and already did wires and plugs was waiting on cap to finish. Any help would be appreciated.

got a Borg Warner cap w/brass @ O'Rielly's. forgot the number though.

Brass cap and rotor from Napa...
MO26 and MO28 (not sure which is the cap)
Dunno bout the coil...haven't changed mine yet.

gb, According to the picture and info on the napa website that is not a brass cap and rotor it is oem. I dunno I will have to ask them, but the picture is not brass

Yes it is a brass incert cap
MO26 and MO28 cap and rotor don't go by the pic on
the site they are brass
Stay away from the accel coils go with an MSD
coil accels have a bad habbit of not holding up
on the dodge trucks
They have an org replacement or go with a 8207
ss blaster 40,000 volt

Thanks J and J, I know that most of the pics are generic so I just wanted to be sure. Can you buy the msd coil you mentioned at napa or would I have to go to a performance center I know jegs carries them.?
