Message: I'm going to throw my 2 cents in here. If you want to race, take it to a track. Many local tracks have open nights where you can race on a course. Quit racing in the streets, do a simple google search for "street racing death" and find the news articles from all over the country where people have been killed from people street racing.
We've all be cruising down the road and had to lock em up because some dillhole didn't look before making a turn or pulling out in front of us. It can be a blood pressure raising experience at 35 MPH, imagine that at 75-80.
If you want to race, thats fine, but when you do it on the street you are putting others lives at risk and that is when it becomes irresponsable and dangerous.
I'm a racing fan, I'm all for being proud of your ride and showing it off. But there is a time and a place.
Be responsable and be safe.

Message: 04SXT I understand everything you said....ill tell ya what Jeremy and I will go to the track and post are 1/8 mile times...cause the 1/4 times i think arent working....from that you all can tell how quick or slow our trucks are...hopefully they have the 1/4 times up cause i want to see if i trap at least 80?
We will try to post the time up for you guys and yes driving on a track is safer and more responsible...but not everyone wants to go to the track.

Message: Some of us street race due to the fact that we have no track. And don't want to drive a couple of hours and waste gas and then pay to get in and pay to fill her up before the way back. What a waste of money.

Message: my few cents worth. I'm 28 and have never street raced.
And you WILL change your views the first time you see a dead body. The last I saw was a woman who was ejected from a car, she was the driver. She was lying in the middle of the road. The look on her face.. that's something I'll never forget. That happened 3 years ago and I remember it as vividly as if it happened this morning.
