How in the world can a Dakota V-6 engine fail with just 17k miles??? This vehicle has been maintained to manufactures specs and has had no previous problem???
After towing to truck to the dealership, they discovered that the engine self destructed, so to speak..
Has anyone else had a new engine put in their Dakota with low milage?? I'd love to hear from you.
Thank God I don't have to pay for the repair!!

This truck has been taken to the dealership for ever turn of a nut and bolt and every oil change...
Actually, I'm not sure what brand of oil they use, but I would think it's factory spec

probably built on a Monday , or a Friday !
Monday - workers hung-over - not pay attention to
torque of rod caps or main bearings !
Friday - Just want out for the weekend
thinking about some some HOT babe to spend the
weekend with !

Hello bud, who has time to deal with having their main vehicle in the shop for weeks??? The truck was towed to the closes dealer, which is more than 20 miles from where I live... Yep, you're right I'm not paying for the repair, but the engine shouldn't have failed so early in it's life to begin with..
