Subject: Which muffler for 3.7? IP: Logged
Message: I just picked up a Jeep Liberty for a daily driver. 3.7/5-speed w/3.73's. Just wondering what the 3.7 guys are doing for mufflers? I don't want to sound ricey but the thing is so quiet now, I can't even hear it.

Message: I just had a 40 series Flowmaster single in-out installed on my 3.7L yesterday. It has a awesome V8'ish sound in the lower rpm's, but like all of them it sounds more like a V6 when you twist it out real good. Overall I like the sound pretty good though.

Message: I have a flowmaster 1 in 2 out. It rumbles at low RPMs and all my friend ask if I have a V8 in my truck. I tell them no I have a 3.7v6. The only bad thing is it sounds like a import at higher RPMs, But over all it's not bad. I drove 600 miles last weekend and Avg. 19-20 MPG.
