Message: Do a search for a company called Randy's ring and pinion. They have always had every rear end part i needed. Your probably looking at about $250 for the gears, installation kit, and rebuild kit (which you should get if you have more than about 40k miles).

Message: Am I mistaken when I say that the 4.10 gears is the ring and pinion for the back axle? If so, what size back end does the 96 Dakota V6 3.9 L have?
