how do you guys pass anyone in your trucks. i love my truck but my 4th and 5th gears just have no get up and go. is there anything i can do to change this? and i don't want to change the gears either. i already have the throttle body and an airaid intake. i'm also thinking about getting a new exhaust. what is a good choice? i have a 2000 dakota 5 speed with the 3.9 liter v6 in it.

i pass on the right if i have to, anyway i can to get around the slow pokes

4th works if we're over 80mph, but just drop it to 3rd...and I used the shoulder a few times to pass, got caught once, good thing my sister is a lawyer 0 points, but if I added them up it was 14 and maryland only allows 12.

The 3.9L (auto) I had, had no problems passing! what kind of speeds are we talking about? is your truck a CC? mine was a RC with the 3:55 rear end, and it was great....

I have a 01 3.9 5 speed and I have the same passing prblem what rpm's are you guys running on the highway in 4th gear? Did I read that right that you do 80 in 4th? I havent dont the timing fix yet I just got the truck 4 days ago and dont want to tear into it yet
