Alright just hear me out on this, i don't know if it's even possible. I just bought a 2000 Dakota 3.9L and i was thinking about ways to greatly improve the performance of it. I had a thought of droping a Dodge viper 8.0L OHV V-10 pushing 450HP 495 lbs-ft torque into it, but i wasn't sure if it would even fit. I highly dought it would, considering that adding an extra 4 cylinders can be rather spacy, Let me hear your thoughts on this.

just plain stupid. If you want that much power, don't get a 3.9l Dak. Plus there are a lot more stylish vehicles out there that I would 'soup up before I put THAT much into a Dak

It'll fit with some work... do it, and like Luke said, leave the V6 badges:)
And as for stupid's post...if you want that much power, you might as well buy one of the cheaper trucks to drop the engine into. Sure beats spending extra $$$ for the bigger engine when you're gonna rip it out anyway.
