Message: ok, for the retarted people out their that have a 3.9L Dakota 03 and older.....the 3.7 has 210HP, the 3.9 is rated at 180HP so how can u tell me that the 3.7 has no chance in hell to beat a 5.7 Chevy, when a 3.9L dakota can?

If my eyes aren't deceiving me, the weight difference is exactly 964 lb. Also, lets take a look at these numbers here, the 5.7L 350 puts out 255 HP and 330 TQ whereas the 3.7L puts out 210 HP and 235 TQ. Also, lets look at the RPMs that they're getting max TQ. Looks to me that the 350 is getting it at 2800 RPMs and the 3.7 is getting it at 4000 RPMs, thus proving the fact that Jeremy did get raped out of the hole from a stop. Remember this fact, when your numbers are closer together, you're gonna perform better. With no TQ, no matter your HP, you won't go no where, same goes the other way around. I am living proof here that I have seen a 5-speed 3.7L Dakota beat a 5.7L Silverado 1500.
