Message: a few questions. What do they do, does it help for hp or torque, are they worth the cost, and how hard are they to install?

Message: it's like putting a bigger cam in your engine, the roller rocker
having a bigger ratio than stock will keep the valves open a little
more on intake and exhaust
the harland sharps i got were abou $270 through
southeastrt.com, i think they are worth the cost and they aren't
hard to install, you can do it all in two hours tops with the right
tools
you can go crower which are steel and last forever i hear, the
harlands are aluminum, crower probably run you $375 and up?
crower will need valve lash adjustment, harlands you don't need
the adjustment you just torque to spec
unlike a cam there is no break in period, run them as soon as
you put them in, you can unless you have a problem reuse your
valve cover gaskets, the crowers will require you recess your oil
baffles in the valve covers 1/2 inch i believe for clearance
reasons, the harland sharps don't need the extra clearance so
i've heard, personally i got modified covers from sam for my
install anyway
