i was looking to lower the ride of my dakota to give it more of the R/T look i found a coil spring kit that will lower it 2inch in front but i want to know how to lower the rear? any suggestions?

Don back to your tb question, unless you have port matching done to you intake manifold, you need to stay down to a 48mm tb... This is because the intake only has two 48mm bores and anything over that will tend to cause turbulance's and reduce the low end quite a bit... Most will either shave the air horns, remove the torque step, and port and polish their tb's or they will buy a V8 tb which has two 50mm bores, but the torque step takes it down to two 48mm bores... Most just go with the V8 tb to save having to do the work to their own tb...

Your lowering question, you really need to go over to the Slammed Dakota's board, but most around here will either take out one of the leafs, heat it with a torch "not recommeded", or buy a leaf spring kit to lower the rear down some... I've even heard of a few kits out there for the bigger trucks that just replaces the bracket that the leafs attach to, to lower it... That way they can still have their stock load hauling capabilities...

If you had the money for it, I would personally go with a good air ride system... Great ride + can ride at what ever height you want to ride at...

yea i was wanting to know if replacing the IAT sensor in my truck will give me more power? i found it cheap on ebay for like 10 bucks and wanted to know if its even worth my time? also has anyone replaced it on their truck and does it work?

u can replace ur iat cheaper then that yourself! move it into your intake tube, then close where it came out of with a 1/4 npt plug..i may be wrong on the size

thanks for the tip on the iat i was also looking at module systems for my truck like the jet chip, i was lookin around on ebay for used jet chips and found module that were supose to give the same results but they were alot CHEAPER!
-Pro Choice high performance module
-Incline technology comp 600 series chip
are these a good buy for like 30 bucks it seems kinda fishy?

lookin for a tb found one but wondering if it will fit my 91 3.9L dakota. This is a complete Throttle Body off of a 2001 Dodge Dakota 5.9 R/T .The throttle body itself will bolt on all 3.9-5.2 and 5.9 Magnum engines. WILL IT WORK as a BOLT ON????

sorry don, the tb will not work. you have a pre mag motor, and none of those chips are worth it at all, and i dont think it would work on your truck cuz its a pre mag. sorry man
