Subject: A/C condensation leak IP: Logged
Message: Howdy! My 1990 Dakota (3.9L V6) drips water (A/C condensation) inside the cab instead of outside onto the ground. Obviously the drainpipe is clogged, but I've looked for the drainpipe and can't find it. Where is the silly thing?

Message: Firewall, near the center and down a little. It's a rubber hose about the size of your finger. You cn unclamp it and clean it easily.

Message: Mine just started doing the same thing last week. It is a 92 v-6. I poked a nylon cable tie up inside the drain tube past the firewall by several inches and swirled it around and didn't feel any resistance or bring out any junk. Any other thoughts on what to do next? When I drive 20 miles I get a lake in the driver floor pan as I live in the south with high humidity. I know it isn't anti-freeze as I have had cars in the past blow their cores.

Message: Shoot compressed air up there. If that doesn't clear it/splash it back onto the carpet, there's a possibility that the drain pan is leaking.

Message: I found the little house by feel (couldn't see it), pulled it off and cleaned it out. It had some kind of rubbery gunk in it. I also taped a small hose on a shop vac hose, put it over the outlet and sucked out whatever was in there. Now it drains just fine. Thanks for the input.
