well, well, I hate to even think of siding with the Ford boys. But, being a Dakota owner for 2½ years has driven me to the point of saying "Next vehicle WILL be a Chevy".
Don't get me wrong. My dakota has so much more style than the Chevys or Fords, but DAMN at the problems.
I've worked at Autozone for about 3 months after I purchased my Dakota. So, it gets extra care. Never went over 3,000 on the oil changes (using synthetic, I normally get it around 2,500-2,800).
Sh1tty ball joints
The stock rotors and brakes are HORRIBLE!
Transmission is slipping (with less than 50k)
Paint has chipped.
Have an exhaust leak.
SH1TTY MPG!
Replacement parts are incredibly expensive.
The dealership consists of MORONS that just want your money.

Because it is new and people like new. Once it has been driven for a while people will find the same old ford problems as always. When the new Dodge ram came out with the new front end guess what it was the best selling truck too. I will say this I do like the look of the new f150, but why because they have gone to the bigger front end just like dodge. Chevy did the same thing with the silverdo with there new design.

If you want to brag about your F-O-R-D, do it on a Ford bulletin board. If you own a Dodge fine post here. I don't go to Ford Bulletin boards and brag about Dodge. Give it a rest and leave. May be mommy needs to change your diaper and give you your bottle.
