'99 Dak 2WD. 67,000mi. Got new tires and was told all of my ball joints are junk. Are there any surprises or tips I need to know before I attempt this job?

As suspension parts fail, others take on more stress. Look for wear on control arm bushings, tie rod ends and steering linkage parts. Look at hub, bearings, shocks, and brakes. NAPA ball joints are MOOG and greasable. Surprise! Don't try to tell yourself its not too big of a job because it is alot of work. If you remove the upper control arm or tie rods, plan on an alignment unless you got Jesus Christ squeazing impact wrenches.
