Subject: torque specs for thermo housing..? IP: Logged
Message: I'm wrenching on this truck with no manual because Haynes doesn't have one yet- 2001 dakota.
Does anyone know the factory torque specs for the thermostat housing bolts?
Haynes makes an "up to 99" manual, is a 2001 mechanically identical to a 99, or should I bite the bullet and get one from Mopar?

Message: jesus christ, dodge gets $90 for the manual. I think I'll just use the torque specs in my s10 manual, since it's the same type of setup- two bolts into an aluminum manifold.

Message: How about just firmly snug. If it leaks its warped.
