Hello,
Newbee here. Have a '99 auto (all stock). There is an upcoming drag race in town and would like to turn my DD to a drag monster (9s or better). Can someone point me in the right direction? I realize I have a lot of mods to worry about, but I need to start.. possibly by contacting someone who specializes in this? TIA y'all. Stationed overseas, so parts have to be shipped to me.

u need a better motor then the v6, hell u newed atleast 600 hp for that kind of number, and the dak is a heavy pig so ur gointo have to put it on a diet or get more power. isuggest u start lookin at 513's

Not even close buddy. I'm guessing you don't realize how difficult or exspensive it is to have a car that it capable of dipping into the 9's. If you expect your dakota to do it you better have around $15,000 to $20,000 to play with.
