Well the new engine hasnt arrived yet, at the dealership. Ive been with out my truck for a week now!! gosh, im on the verge of insanity!! im suprised ive lasted this long with out it. It sucks not having a ride. when i get her, back im gunna treat her so well. im gunna baby that thing, course i have to let the new motor break in....later peeps....

I was without my truck for a month when the fuel lines rusted out and ole Daimler just doesn't make replacements anymore.
I got to drive a 94 Plymouth Sundance while I was without it.

nope, only if i bought the exteneded warranty or somthing....i wish i had a rental cat, last the we had as a rental, was a Dode Ram 4 door with a 360! that thing was a hoss!! sucked gas though....

thats bullsh*t if its stock warranty they required to give you adequate means of transportatoin. If its extended then its up the the company your contracts with. They keep there own loaner cars on hand for sh*t like that and your engine job just made them 5grand go in there and tell them you want a rental. Even if ext. warranty doesnt cover it they should be able to comp you. If you put up any of a fuss theyll cave. Cause like i said you just gave them 5 grand.

Some dealers will give you a rental car for warrenty work, some won't. I live in Atlanta and some of the dealers will give rental cars but the others have signs saying that they do not give rental cars for any work, even warrenty work.

See the deal with that is they dont have there own set of "loaner" cars. However the warranty itself does cover it. (factory that is) Tell them they need to pay for enterprise/hertz/whatever company to give you a damn car. And that the inconvicence caused by this is rediculous and that if they cant find a way to suit your needs you will goto a dodge lot that will.
