I just replaced my stock muffler with a flowmaster 40 and it sounds great.

if the tailpipe exits after the rear tire, can i move it to infront of the tire? or would that be illegal. i dont think it is, but i just wanna check before i move the pipe. i live in mass.

You can move it, but it will take a little work and extra money. But try to keep the pipe bent like it is stock so that you will not lose as much low end. I have the 40s series with stock pipe, sounds great and good low and high end.
