I found a 2002 Club Cab, 5-speed V-6 at a dealer today. It has power everything, bedliner, cd player, cruise control, 4WD and is VERY clean (doesn't look like a northern NY truck). The truck has 44,000 miles on it and is a 'Certified Used Vehicle.' What do you guys think it's worth? $15,100 is what I got him down to. Good price? Too much? Thanks in advance!

Yeah, I checked that and www.nada.com and both are well above what we agreed on. I know that they can be off from the 'real world' prices a little. Thanks for the response!

Well if its below what kbb and nada says then it sounds like a good price.But just because it says "Certified Used Vehicle" doesnt mean much.Or not to me anyways.Just make sure you get the carfax report from them.I kind of wish i did that before i bought my truck, i dont think i would have bought it if i had seen it.Came up as a rental truck from Mich.And its had alot of problems.Good thing i had gotten a Ext. warrnety.I think for all the work that was done was around $3000.... So make sure you do get the carfax report.Later

Don't rely on carfax though...it's only as accurate as the people who are reporting the accidents, changes of ownership, etc. Make sure you thoroughly inspect the truck before you decide to buy it and bring a friend along who's great with vehicles and have him/her check it out as well. Still get a carfax report though... a bad wreck or something could still be reported on it.
