Message: I posted this concern earlier this week and no one realy responded. so here it is again, My truck keeps on stalling while driving for no apparent reason that I can tell. today it stalled and couldn't get it started for at least 5min. soon as it started it ran fine, cant figure it out. Its a 1998 3.9 with 78000 miles. this is a stock truck, no mods, not yet at least. If you could help with any info it would be great.
Thanks

Message: sounds like the fuel pump is going bad when it
gets hot it will stop pumping than after it cools
a while it will restart and run fine.
Keep your tank full and watch as it drops below
3/4 1/2 it will happen more often keeping the tank
full the pump will run cooler and not shut down

Message: Another possibility, but usually results in permanent failure, is the famous distributor wobble and shutter damage.
