Message: AP64 is a colder plug but also has a plat tip
open it to .045 and try that
Your o2 may also be bad it controls the throttle
body injection rate
White is hot not cold but you went the right way
with the 64

Message: Rarely. You need a few driving trips to make the SBEC re-learn with the new O2 sensor. My dad and I just drove his car from FL to MA with a new sensor, got 23, then 26, 27 and then 28 mpg under identical driving conditions.

Message: Try this... go get a bottle of fuel system cleaner and run that through your engine. I just put a bottle of the STP Entire Fuel System Cleaner (gray bottle that says use only once every 4000 miles) and my gas mileage definitely improved at least a little. How much, I'm not quite sure yet...but I can tell you before I was getting almost exactly 25 miles per 1/8 tank mark on the gauge (every tank for the past few tanks). My last fill up was the first since I ran that bottle through my system and I am only down 3/8 of a tank with 100 miles. It looks like I may get 125 miles to a half tank (on the gauge) whereas I used to get no more than 100. We'll see when I calculate my gas mileage next fill-up though...maybe my gauge is just messed up since I ran that cleaner through...lol
