Does amsoil increase hp and make engines run quieter? What are some of the benefits over Mobil 1?

Synthetics offer less friction and that means less
heat build up and wear on internal parts.
Changing to all sythetics in my 4X4 you can tell
the differance in both performance and gas mileage
I run all Amsoil, motor, trans, rears and even
grease with there syn with moly, in all my
vehicles right down to my john deere tractor that
has run 9 years with out even changing the spark
plug, i change the tractor once per year and use
there origanal turbo 10w-30 in everything.
In my dak, hemi truck and the 04 intrepide I
change every 6 months or 6000 miles and also using
there extended life oil filters now instead of
changing a reg filter at 3000 miles and its
working out very well.
Last check, 23.4 mpg
stock motor with all the bolt ons, crank sensor
mod and the PVI injection system but I did
develope some piston ping in the warmer weather
and went to mid range fuel 89 and the ping is gone
oh and a jet stage 2 chip
The 3.9 V6 can be both a good performer and
economical motor if its set up right
I just fell in love with the V6 with my first
one I bought new in 1993 and have bought 2 more
since than a 1994 2 wheel than traded that for the
4X4 in dec 1994 a 95 model and plan on keeping it
forever and a day
The new stroker motor is just about ready to go in
but I am looking for a 2 wheel to drop it into.
4.0 stroke
10.5 to 1 comp
Hughes stage 2 intake 50mm bores
F&B 50mm throttle body
@.050 220/228 .520/.540 around 272/284 114 seperation
crower 1.6 rev kit
mopar performance computer
It will be going on an engine dyno within the next
month to see if I will need to use a fuel
controler, a lot easier to tune that way with a
wide band o2 sensor and the dyno

when i put amsoil in my 3.9L (i no longer have) it ran slightly quieter and idled a little bit better. i didnt even step up from dino oil. i was using mobil 1. IMHO amsoil is the best oil on the market! my next oil change in my 4.7L is going to be AMSOIL. i am using mobil 1 to "wash out" the castroil GTX the dealer had in my dak (YUK!!) and i use a napa gold oil filter..
