Message: Well known problem. Dodge used the wrong grease on the connector for the gauge pod. Remove it and clean the contacts. Use proper dielectric grease when you put it back together. My 97 did the same thing until I found a competent dealer to diagnose the problem and fix it.

Message: I second Ted.
Sometimes pulling your gauge pod, pulling the connector and plugging it back up a few time repetedly will cure it.
I've seen that problem as early as 95 Daks.

Message: I kept getting a code 0720 with my engine check light on and really weird shift points when running. The code says "Transmission shaft Speed Sensor malfunction. I found the speed sensor on the left side of the OD portion of the automatic transmission, bought a new speed sensor for $21.61 from a local auto parts store, installed the sensor, reset the OBDI and it worked like a charm. I figure I saved over$100.00 which would have been my cost at a dealer.
