Subject: Mis/Backfire under slight load IP: Logged
Message: I'm getting either some backfireing or misfireing after putting in some new FMS #19 injectors. Generally it only happens between 2500-3500rpm under light accel. If I hammer on it that generally doesn't happen. Could it be possible that the computer is leaning them out too much in that range, or the injector sync is off too much? And thoughts would be appreciated. I just replaced the O2 sensor a couple thousand miles ago too, thinking that could have had something to do with it.

Message: give the computer a couple hundred miles to learn the new injectors and see if it goes away.

Message: Injectors have been in for a few months now. I switched to 93octane to see if it made any diff, but it didn't. I check the tps sensor and it's reading .75V, that seems abit (too)high?

Message: .75 is perfect... stock ranges from I've heard .3-.9, and .75 is where you wanna shoot when doing the TPS mod.

Message: Sometimes these engines can get running bad and need the cobwebs cleaned out every so often, take it up the freeway and stomp it down a few, after all its a Magnum engine so it wont hurt it one bit. Keeps it running up to par.
