Message:
My ac just started to Emmet a fog with a slight oder from the vents with the ac on. I thought that the condensation hose was plugged but I can't locate one. Anyone had this experience? The air is still pretty cool so I'm not sure what to make of it. It's around 100 degrees here in my part of Northern California so I guess if it's failing I'll find out soon. Any help?

If like older dak's - drain is on firewall at back of engine , but you will probably still
have difficulty seeing it because you have
even less space back there than the older ones.
Is this the first time you put it on
for some time ?

No I have been running the air off and on with no problem. Oh SXXX! I hope it's not the heater core!
I'll check that as soon as it cools off. I did check the passenger side floor when looking for the condensate drain hose.
Have to tell you guys this is my first Dodge since '71 and I'm not real impressed with this rig. I thought my 4th gen Z28 Camaro was hard to work on, but this truck needs to be jacked up tires put on another rig. I just did the front end and the brakes need to be done again.
I'm 54 and have been playing with cars since I was
9 years old. I love the cab size instead of the sardine can of the S10! But.......
Anyone done the heater core on a 98 style??
Thanks for the replies. Jeff

first i'd find a cooling system pressure tester and test the system. i think you can borrow one from AutoZone. i've got an '00 QC w/ 36,000 miles, only thing i've had to do so far is a tune up and reg maint. i guess i'm one of the lucky ones.
