Subject: Lifting My V6 New Gears????????? IP: Logged
Message: I have a 2002 V6 SXT Dak and I am getting a 3" suspension and a 3" body and putting some 33's on that puupy. I don't do hardly any towing and I don't play in the mud, it's pretty much just for looks. What about gears??? Some people say i need them some say i don't. What do I need to do? And where can I do it? Appreciate any help.

Message: do you have an auto or manual? and whats your stock gear ratio? if you have 3.92s you should be fine going to 33" tires. 3.55s or lower you'd better step up to 3.92 or 4.10

Message: Josh
thanks for the compliment it's 3inch susp and 3 inch body.As for the 4.56 gears i think the most you can get is 4.10's b/c of the size of our rear axle carriers.
