Get the book "Maximum Boost: designing, testing, ans installing turbocharger systems" by Corky Bell. That will give you an idea of whether or not you want to try it. Turbochargers are complicated, theres a lot of math involved to select which turbo to use for what size engine. Then you have to fabricate brackets and exhaust parts, and design a lubrication system. Once thats all done you need to upgrade your fuel system and dynotest the truck to make sure your air/fuel ratio is correct.
