Why is it that the older dakotas look just like a ford truck. I hate dodge for that.

You mean the newer Dakota, Ram and Durango models right? They look like what Ford did after Dodge introduced that new Ram way back in 95 I think?

That style F-150 came out after the GenII Dakotas didnt it? Then Ford copied the 94 Ram body style on there F250/350's in the late 90's.

back then, they all looked the same... s10's, ranger's, and dakotas. Only differences between them were their tailights.

I think your talking about the F-150s up to 1996, in 1997 the F-150s switched to the newer body style, more rounded, not anything like a Dakota or Ram. As mentioned above, in the late 80s/early 90s they all kinda looked alike.

Well Ford just copied Dodge with their new F-150's. I saw one the other day from behind and swore it was a new Dodge Ram until I was right on it. They look almost identical.

Who would want a Ford anyway? They copy Dodge. They try to make thier trucks look like Dodges and then try to make thier engines move like Dodges, but they can't do it!

The new Fords are ridiculous.

They just made everything twice the size in an attempt to create a BIG truck like dodge has in the new Rams, but they forgot about styling!

The sides of the box on the F-150's is simply flat and straight up.

Still Ford POS in my books.

Yeah, I hear yah on the Dakota looking like a ford. My Dakota has a grill guard that covers the part that says "DODGE" so it looks like an old ford ranger. Oh well, once i get the custom bumper installed it'll look like a Dakota again.
