You will outrun them because they have the same engine with more weight.

Power to weight ratio.

LoL. I think hater has a steroid problem. I think anybody would win against him because he would prolly get overanxious and kill the engine by mistake.

Moron.

dan, you are a f*cking moron too... put 2.76 gears in the dak and it will still win. Its all about power to weight..the ram is much much heavier. Why dont you just go back to you knitting and gay porn, leave the dak stuff alone

Actaully,

I have a Ram with the 3.9L. It has the 3.21 rear end, and if you matched a stock Ram against a stock Dak (rear ends being different in each one) the Dak would win.

If the Ram had the 3.92 like Dan said, it would be a very interesting race. Sure the weight is more on a Ram, but they also run a couple more degrees of advance than the stock computer on a Dak. I'm not sure what the Daks have, but my tranny is the NV3500 (came in both the 1500 and 2500 models, but maybe not in the Daks), and so that would play a part as well. Stock Rams have the same axle as the R/T's (that's just for info, he he).

So I think mods would really make the difference in that one. Could make it go either way. It IS about the power to weight ratio, but what hater doesn't know is that the usable FORCE that gets to the wheels will be goverened by the gearing, and since F=ma, the increase in mass can more than be offset by the force, giving just as good acceleration as a lighter vehicle.

J-man you sir are a moron

The weight between the two vehicles is over 1000lbs. If they were closer in weight the gearing would make it a better match. The dak having 3.21's and the ram having 3.90's is not going to make up for the 1000+ l weight difference
