i freind has a 87 2wd dakota with a 3.9 in it. he wants to get some more performance out of it and i'm going to help him with it.
i don't know much about the v6s or whats available. i was thinking doing something like a bigger cam, more compression(to about 9-9.5:1),have the heads ported a little maybe, headers and a full exhaust to start with.
does anything from the 3.9 magnum fit a non magnum like the heads?
he hoping for around 200-250hp, how hard would it be and what would be the best way to get it(no nitrous)? he dosn't have much money so that is an issue.
also, where is a good place to get performance parts for a 3.9 or whould it be easier to drop in a v8?
