Message: I recently had a similar problem with my 90 4x4 V6. I purchased a wrecked 91 V8 removed the auto trans, utilized all the parts pulled the pilot bushingh and retainer from the 6 to fit the torque converter in the crank. It all bolted up the only issue was the TV linkage which had to be tweaked. Also the drive shaft had to be shortened, and switches had to be wired for the OD selinoids.

Message: I have a 2003 V6 4x4 and the transmission has a tough time shifting when cold or when going up hills (intermittant). The dealer tells me that it is normal for 3.9 to have the clutch belt slip. I may be a women, but not stupid. They sent me away very unhappy. Can anyone give me some constructive words of wisdom on a similuar problem.
