i have a 04 3.7L 2wd dakota. i'm thinking about getting a 70 series muffler.

my 1st question is how loud are they compared to the stock mufflers?

2nd, can you feel any performance and/or fuel economy gain with it? thanks.

You should be able to notice the difference with any free flowing exhaust. I don't know what the 70 sounds like on a V6. I have a 40 and I love it, but it is very loud.

I have had the 50 series delta followed by the 70- series on my 3.9. The 50 was loud and irritating in the cab. The 70 is is throaty and powerful sounding, but not loud in the cab; a little louder than stock. I find the 70 series provides the small amount of back pressure that maintains torque. I would recommend the 70-series.
