Subject: ac heater blower problems IP: Logged
Message: My 1990 dakota blower motor is not working. I replaced
the motor, checked all the fuses and still no blower.
What else should I check and where is what I should
check located? (I'm an amatuer fix-it nut).
ALSO - on the fuse box is a round metal fuse that my
owners manual calls a Relay Assembly, it gets really
hot! could this be the problem. I called the dealership
and went to Auto Zone and no one seems to know what
this Relay Assembly fuse is for or if I can get it replaced.

Message: Sounds like the resistor pack.
On my 2001, it was located under the glovebox inside the cab.
On older trucks, i think it is mounted on the firewall in the motor compartment on the passenger side.
It kinda looks like a credit card with a plug on the end for the wiring harness.
Cheap part, cost me $16 Canadian.
