Message: Does anyone know if I can replace my stock 265/70/16's with 265/75/16 BF Goodrich All Terrains without the problem of the tires rubbing the truck? I have a 2003 Reg.Cab Sport V-6 4x4. I checked my nearest BF Dealer and they were unsure. They said it might possibly fit, but barely if that. They looked at it and said they would have to mount one on, and see if it rubs. If anyone knows if it will or will not fit, that will save me that aggravation and be very much appreciated.

Message: The 75 series tires should be about 1/2" narrower and just a little taller than your 70 series. I can't imagine there being a problem with the switch.

Message: Thanks for that website. It seems as if its the same tire with a 1 inch difference in diameter. There is not much room in the front wheel wells the way it is. That would mean there would have to be at least a half inch of extra space on either side of the tire to compensate for the extra inch. Did anyone ever try to mount a 265/75/16 on a stock dakota 4x4? Also if it does fit, I will probably need to have the speedometer re-calibrated?

Message: that 1" total diameter isnt gonna set you off more than a mph or two. At 60 you would probably really be going 61-62 mph.
when i put my 26" tires on (dropped about 2.5-3"), i was only going 56 when the speedo said 60 mph.
