Well I think my 02 sensor finally took a sh!t. My truck boggs down really bad when i am cruising and my check engine light comes on...i had it put on the scanner and it says bank 1 position 1 02 sensor shorted to high voltage.....i guess this means its fukin up...time to get another one...any ideas if 02 sensors are the same or what cause if i am going to replace it i want a good one...plus my gas mileage might go up

BTW my gas mileage is an average of about 15.5 and thats with my foot out of it...just for the main reason of gas prices. So maybe if the 02 sensor screws with the milegae than by getting a new one it will help it maybe another 1 mpg or what?

When an O2 sensor goes bad, it turns your gas mileage to sh!t...if it's really bad, it will prolly go up considerably.

Your o2 sensor has a heater circut that is powered by 12v. More than likely this heater circut is shorted to the low voltage sensor circut. Could be inside the sensor itself or the sensor wires could be melted together somewhere back to the pcm. Check wiring carefully. If no problems get a sensor.

Ok...I am not a fan of Autozone so I guess if its made by Bosch it should be ok....HAD too many problems with autozone parts. Looks like I will be picking one up this afternoon.

I have a 94 Gen II and BTW Hater you never give it up...Autozone also has their brands just like every other reatiler...hmmm u just said that but wait...Didnt you also say that they carry other name brands....your right they do...Man your so SmART?!?!?
