On my '97 Dakota, I have a quick connect point on both the high and low pressure side for the AC lines. The auto parts store sell those recharge kits that connect to the low pressure side through the quick connect point. For some reason, my low pressure side has a larger diameter quick connect. The recharge kit will fit on the high pressure side. Is there an adapter available to connect this recharge kit to the low pressure side?

If you can connect a recharge kit to the high-pressure side, someone has tampered with your truck. I'd get the fittings back to factory so no one gets mixed up and hurts themselves.

Using the picture from Tazzy, the connector on my compressor is larger and is pointed toward you and is closer (above the Discharge on the compressor - but the manifold ). It fits the larger size high pressure R134a connector. We are the original owners - no modifications! How can I post pictures - do I have to register?
