I have a 1997 Dakota, 3.9. auto. Today, while I was driving, the trans decided to slip from 1st to second After I got into second it ran fine. The problem is ! It only did it for about 5 minutes, now it runs fine. I was driving in city traffic for about 2 hours

I had the sensors replaced about a year ago, along with the filter. Checked the fluid level and its fine

Anybody had this problem. You comment will be greatly appreciate

I see that all the time than it won't do it

Sticky valve or acumulator small piece of dirt
floating around in the valve body will do all
kinds of strange things than never act up again

If it starts doing it all the time than worrie
