I've been checking out V8 tb's on ebay. Price seems right. What are the pros and cons of putting one of these into 98 3.9. thank you.

Based on my experience I'd have to say all pros (significant performance and mpg gains) and no cons. Just give the PCM a few hundred miles to re-learn before you pass final judgement (off-idle response will seem slow at first, but it will get better).

Oh, and a couple of other things. You won't see better mpg if you're stomping on it alot, which you WILL be tempted to do. Also you won't get the full benefit with the stock airbox setup (cutting a larger hole at the inlet produces surprisingly good results).

the 5.2 and 5.9 v8 have the same size tb, that's what you need to look for. good luck!

I've got a v8 tb that I would sell you. It still has all of the v8 sensors on it and I also have the throttle cable that you need. I will sell it for less than what ever the going rate is on them. ($80-$90?) Just let me know.
