I was wandering what kinda of mods can be done with a throttle body. I own a 1989 3.9. Should I try to switch to fuel injection or what?? It starting to seem like theres not many mods for the throttle body. Is there anyone who can tell me something for a little encouragment?? Like maybe a few benefits of the TB. What would be the best Mod

1 - do a search - that is what it is here for.
2 - switch to fuel injection VERY complicated and EXPENSIVE unless you can find a source of
used parts.

Bruce @ www.fiveomotorsports has injectors for the TBI now. check 'em out. i think you can port out that TBI. going to MFI will be a little tougher, new comp, wiring, etc. a non-mag motor has different heads and manifolds than mag motors.

port your tbi, remove the torque step down need the throttle plates, smooth [remove this] this step so it has a nice flow to the plates,
[don,t remove any where the plates are closed]
this can be done by removing the throttle plates and shaft, just take your time,

get a used one [$25-35] and try do it so if you screw up not out alot

i have one done i,ll sell $100 exchanged,$125 w/o
no sensors tbs,map,injectors etc
