 Subject: What size is my tranny?

This probably sounds retarded but I would like know what size my tranny is. Its an 89, 3.9.
Its a 5-speed and has 10-bolt rear end. How do I find out ALL the specs. I`m slowly learning, thanx for all the past and future info.

you most likely have the ax15 tranny and depending on what the origional owner wanted, either a 7.25 or 8.25 rear. i know of a site dealerconnect. com where i can put in your VIN and tell you what it was ordered with, but sorry, it uses a password and name, so i cant let you use the site or else i could get in trouble. just send me your VIN and i will try to tell you what you have. Does this site tell you everything about your truck cause thats what I`m aiming for?
