Message: My advice is to not take that guys advice, a 6.6L is impossible to fit into a dak. Thats bigger than two 2.5l 4cyls put together. Imagine how huge that engine must be. If hes lying about that, hes probably lying about the turbo. Turbos are just for 4cyls, you can use a huffer on a 6cyl. beleive me I know

here's the motor and tranny waiting to go in
here's my buddy and i putting her in
here's the motor mount. The motor fit so well, it lined up with the stock motor mount brackets and i just got some steel to fill in the gap and made solid motor mounts.
here's the motor with all it's accessories
and here it is with the radiator and bumper on.
the B motor is actually just about as wide as the 4.7 liter.. maybe a little less. The motor sits back about 2" closer to the fire wall than the old motor and is about 3/4" away from it. The only thing i had to do to my truck besides the motor mounts, to get it to fit, is buy a brake booster off of a 99+ dakota. The MP valve covers wouldnt clear the big old booster so i had to buy a smaller diameter one.
I am even using my stock driveshaft...

Message: alrighty, here we go again..
here's the turbo i used. It's a TB0301 that i rebuilt, coated the turbine housing and bought/polished a new compressor housing.
here is the header i built. I met up with the exhaust from the other side just before the turbo. I used a JBA header flange, 1 3/4" mandrel tubing (too big, should of used 1 5/8) from jcwhitney, and finished it off with a 3" collector/reducer.
here's the plumbing all done, you can barely see the exhaust plumbing to the left of the intake pipe. I had the exhaust come over from the other side and meet up just below the turbo and after the header.
here's how the turbo sat
here's the final package.. that filter sat right behind the hole on a GTS hood.
