only thing that stopped me was i was about to purchase an inline fuel pump from a powerdyne charger and a FMU from a vortech unit but my wife wrecked her car before i got the parts and had to turn the dak back around so she could drive it, too.

Message: Whoever this Dan guy is, is an idiot!! Anything is possible and I have seen a Viper V-10 in a dakota. I also have seen a 528 hemi put in a dakota as with the regular 5.7. Go to www.krcperformance.com for the ultimate in performance parts and swaps. Lots of 408 stroker kits available with twin turbo's, nos, and supercharger kits. "Turbo's are only for 4cyl motors" quoted Dan. PFFFFffffffff! what is that guy smokin? Turbos are becoming quite popular parts for all types of motors. Diesel upgrades are booming! The sky is the limit as long as you have the $$$$! Sorry to tell you the truth Dan, but what your seeing and hearing, the majority is true!!

swapped in 19lb injectors from a stang,
perfect fit/14.4 @ 98mph
Then rolled it out on "dead man's curve"
(still ran)
Current: 98 Dak/318/5spd/3.55posi w/similar mods
Soon to be fitted with 408 stroker and
fully restored.

I don't know who Dan is but I have personally seen IntenseDak3.9 6.6 liter installation and seen his truck in action. Tell me I dreamin when I drove all the way from Washington State all the way to Texas. Tell me I dreamin when I had to fight through California Traffic. Tell me I dreamin when an idiot in New Mexico driving a Ford diesel pullin a trailor whipped out in front of me nearly causing an accident. Tell me I'm dreamin when I visited IntenseDak in Texas. Tell me im dreamin when I saw the motor in Intense's truck just as posted, beautiful installation. Tell me I'm dreamin when I heard him start it up and roasted the tires when he took off. Tell me I dreamin when I put 6000 miles on my 92 4x4 5.2 Dakota. If I'm dreamin then this bulle tin board, every where I have been is merely oart of the "Matrix". I guess I had better unplug the cables and get to reality.
92 and 97 Daks both with many mods.
