Subject: exhaust break-in period..
IP: Logged

Message:
Hey, today i'm installing a new cat (magnaflow high-flow) and a flowmaster 40 series muffler, 2.5" single in/out. I heard that there is a break-in period. What should I expect before and after and how long does it take, if this is true.

Does anybody else have this exhaust set up? Any thoughts or comments. Thanx!

bmros, I think what some one has told refers to making major changes to the fuel system, or intake. It could apply to the exhaust as well, if so you may see a little more power in about 250-500 miles.
