are those oil additive any good.

Lifters ticking I presume
Yes the aditives do help noisy lifters most of the
time
CD2 or some marval mystery oil will help noisy
lifters both made by same company
A lot of the air craft industry uses the mystry
oil for an asembly lube when rebuilding
Deffenitly worth trying over the expense of
replacing the lifters even if it don't help your
particular truck your only out a few bucks
Doing an engine flush and switching to syn also
will help on a lot of motors with ticking lifters
I run al Amsoil in all my vehicles and equipment
right down to my John Deere garden tractor
