Subject: 3923 Plugs in an 03 V6? IP: Logged
Message: Autozone.com and Kragen.com list another number plug as the recommended replacement. I was wondering if you guys still reccomend the 3923 in an 03 model ... and what is the benifit of this plug over the reccomended ones?
thanks,

Message: 3923 is a range cooler than stock... depending on your mods, it may not run very well in your truck. I've heard they don't run so well in the Gen. 3's anyway or something like that. If you're pretty heavily modified, they'll prolly run great and they will also help prevent ping. From personal experience, my truck doesn't run nearly as well with them (1998 dak) and I have a different intake, thermostat, and exhaust on mine. Stock replacement autolites are the 5224's though...which is prolly the number you were given. Since Autolites are so cheap, it wouldn't put you out a ton of money to try em in your truck though.
